Keeping all the feuds aside, Amazon and Google finally decide to integrate the YouTube app on the Fire TV platforms. With this development, millions of viewers who stream video content online using Fire TV Stick and YouTube will be highly benefited.
Earlier in 2017, both the tech firms raised various disputes over the removal of Amazon’s OTT services from Google’s Chromecast and YouTube from Amazon’s Fire Stick. But now considering the competitive OTT industry, both Amazon & Google are willing to collaborate with each other and deliver a better streaming experience to audiences worldwide.
Commenting on the announcement, Heather Rivera – Global Head of Product Partnerships at YouTube, said: “We are excited to work with Amazon in launching the official YouTube app on Fire TV devices worldwide and to give our users even more ways to watch the videos and creators they love.”
