As per the reports of Q1 2019, Amazon Fire TV witnesses a total of 34 million active users, up from 30 million in January. With this, Fire TV leads the video streaming war on Smart TVs, as Roku reported 29.1 million active users last week.
One major factor that turned effective for Fire TV, is the integration of YouTube app on the platform after the partnership agreement with Google. Not only that, even Fire TV is now delivered with Alexa voice assistant feature with Fire TV Cube.
Jen Prenner, Global Head of Marketing, Amazon Fire TV, commented: “We are experiencing enormous momentum in 2019, especially in Germany, India, US, and the UK and within the next financial year, we expect to grow our audience-base to a wider volume worldwide.”
