Free OTT VOD platform Odeón is all set to expand throughout Latin America, following the rapid growth in Argentina. The platform was launched an year ago with an App for Android mobiles and is now looking to expand to Smart TVs and Chromecast devices.
The service has been huge popular in Argentina, having about 420,000 registered users and adding about 15,000 new customers each month. The company is also looking to launch a transactional VOD service targeting movie premieres in cinemas being premiered simultaneously on demand.
