The ITV backed factual SVOD service Curio is all set to launch in Sweden and Norway. The new service will be on the Com Hem platform in Sweden – the largest in the country, and in Norway it will be on GET – the second largest nationally.
Curio comes from the same team as Cirkus, which is on of the best SVOD services in UK, also backed by ITV. Like Cirkus, Curio is also designed to sit within Pay TV platforms and compete with OTT platforms like Netflix and Amazon. The Curio programming will be categorized into civilisation, science and tech, current affairs, nature and the environment and social issues.
