HBO GO to be launched in Latin America

HBO is all set to launch its standalone over-the-top (OTT) service, HBO GO in major parts of Latin America. The subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) service is currently available in Colombia, Mexico, Argentina and Brazil since 2016. In rest of the areas of Latin America, HBO GO is offered as a pay-TV service. The much anticipated launch has started in the Caribbean. Subscribers in more countries will gradually be able to access this service in the next months.

The OTT streaming service can be individually accessed and subscribed to through any of HBO’s digital properties on desktop as well as mobile. This launch has been a result of the continued penetration of SVOD across the region last year. Read More
