Popular Subscription Video-on-Demand (SVoD) provider iflix and NBCUniversal have come up with a content licensing agreement by which iflix subscribers will have access to additional content.

iflix which is already boasting over 6.5 million subscribers, now, will have popular NBC series included in their offering. iflix which is currently available in 25 countries including Kenya, Sudan, Nigeria, Ghana, and Zimbabwe is one of the leading online platforms that offer access to TV shows and movies via phones, laptops, tablets, and TV sets.

Evert van der Veer, iflix head of content for Africa was quoted, “NBCU is one of the world’s most pre-eminent providers of award-winning content. We are thrilled to offer many of their most acclaimed series and movies to consumers across the sub-Saharan African region, reaffirming our commitment to our members to offer the best and widest selection of entertainment content available.”
