Viu, the subsidiary of PCCW Media has inked a deal with Korean cable TV network JTBC. The collaboration is noted for being the largest content deal that JTBC has signed in Asia.

JTBC, which is known for its popular high-rating variety shows, through its fresh and original content has become one of the top five broadcasters in Korea.

Janice Lee, Managing Director, PCCW Media Group, quoted, “We are pleased to present JTBC’s exciting program lineup to fans across Asia which reaffirm Viu’s commitment to bring premium Asian content to our viewers and our position as the preeminent OTT platform in Asia. In continuing to enrich the breadth and depth of content, Viu has also been expanding its content portfolio with Viu Original series which comprise series produced in Indian, Chinese and Indonesian languages, collaborating with award-winning directors, renowned artists and premium production houses in the region.”
