Lionsgate and Amazon Channels have renewed their content distribution agreement which means the latter will continue to offer the former’s over-the-top video platforms which include Pantaya, Keven Hart’s Laugh Out Loud! Pop, Tribeca Shortlist, and Starz.
Amazon channels which are a collection of third-party OTT video services, which Amazon Prime members can subscribe to with one-click access. Amazon channels are also synchronized with Alexa, the voice-activated software.
Chris Albrecht, Starz president quoted, “We are on track to launch there in the next couple of months,” Albrecht said. “It has impacted the rate of growth we were projecting on our OTT platforms.”
