While streaming OTT content, consumers prefer bigger screen around, especially for binge-watching. The connected TV adoption is smaller but is growing quickly. According to a recent study, the average number of connected TV in homes has increased by 50% from Q1 2015 to Q1 2016.

During the same period, smartphone usage for video streaming services has decreased by 20% (from an average of 0.39 phones used to stream videos in every home to an average of 0.25). While desktop/notebook usage has decreased by 10% (from an average of 1.18 tablets used to stream videos in every home to 1.07).
