Indian Digital-Music market recorded a figure of nearly 150 Mn active users in December 2018. However, earlier it was bandied that the audio streaming market in India involves around 100 Mn audiences.
Presence of popular audio streaming applications including Gaana, Wynk Music, Jio Saavn, Amazon Music, and Apple Music is paving significant growth opportunities in the Indian music streaming market.
With robust developments in the streaming ecosystem, more and more users are actively interacting with online music via different devices. Though there are not many paid users as of now (unfortunately less than 1% of subscribers in India are paid users), it is expected that the audio streaming economy will potentially grow with further progress in the industry.
