In a major technology upgrade, Nepal is to get 2 new IPTV  services through WorldLink and ViaNet partnering with New IT Venture for NET TV and Subisu launching CLEAR TV. For IPTV service, Ministry of Information and Communication (MoIC) charges registration fee of Rs 5,000 and licensing fee of Rs 25,000 per channel. License has to be renewed annually by paying 10 percent of the licensing fee. Nepal’s growing access would mean a significant inclination towards VoD service by the developing Asian countries.
