Lack of access to networks as per a report from Instituto de Pesquisa Econômica Aplicada (IPEA) and the telecom authority Anatel which has led to an unfulfilled demand for access to services such as video-on-demand (VOD), streaming over-the-top (OTT) and IPTV.

Only 4 in 10 households have broadband access in Latin America but penetration rates are 79% in Uruguay, 54% in Chile, 49% in Argentina, 43% in Brazil and 9% in Honduras. Read More
