Rakuten launches a new sports streaming platform

Rakuten, the Japanese internet company, announces the launch of a new Video-on-Demand (VoD) and live streaming service – Rakuten Sports for delivering sports content to subscribers worldwide.

Rakuten Sports’ content will be primarily centered on soccer fans in Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos, and other South-East Asian countries. Apart from Soccer, the live streaming service will also feature sports content related to Basketball, Table-Tennis, e-Sports and more.
