2018 was solely the year of cord-cutting streaming devices. As 2019 is closing in, Roku has been voted as the best streaming device of the year.

Reports have shown that with 56.3% vote, Roku Players and Roku TVs are leading the market. It has even trailed behind Fire TV at 21.2% and Apple TV at 13.5%. The calculation has been done over all of the versions of these devices. Starting from Android TV, XBOX, to PlayStation and many others – Roku is now, ahead in the competition with maximum votes from consumers.

On the contrary, Amazon is also on the race to grab the biggest market share. So, 2019 will surely bring up a harder battle between Amazon and Roku.
