According to reports, subscription based video-on-demand (SVOD) is set to touch 14 million in the MENA region by 2023. While Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and UAE will continue to dominate in terms of OTT subscribers and revenue, the blended average revenue per user (ARPU) remains under $5.

Digital video revenue will continue to rise steadily with SVOD subscription revenue to account for almost 90 percent of the total in 2023. Increasing demand for digital video in Middle East region has been constantly growing despite extensive presence of free-to-air content and lack of connectivity. The impressive statistics is a boost to the ongoing OTT revolution in the region.
