MEA SVOD revenues are predicted to increase continually from $124 million in 2015 and onto $1,240 million in 2021. The Middle East & Africa OTT TV and Video Forecasts report envisages that Turkey will be the reigning market leader, with $257 million in SVOD revenues by 2021.
This research says there would be 19.59 million SVOD (subscription video on demand) subscriptions across 28 countries in the region by 2021.
SVOD’s will dominate and are expected to grow to 69% of the OTT total in 2021 from 45% in 2015.
