Interestingly, YouTube TV has finally launched on Roku and both the companies announced the news jointly. The announcement said YouTube TV will be available on “select Roku devices” in the 80 markets in which the service is distributed.

As per a CNBC report, Google has registered around 300,000 users for its virtual MVPD services since last spring and only YouTube was kept out of Roku. While YouTube TV features available on Roku include a cloud DVR with unlimited storage, up to five people can watch the service simultaneously using their respective login credentials.

Set at a base price of $35 a month, YouTube Live will be competing with Hulu Live, Sony PlayStation, Sling TV, DirecTV Now, and FuboTV.

YouTube TV is currently available on OTT platforms such as Chromecast, Apple TV (via AirPlay adapter), Android TV, and Xbox.
