Fast channel Advertising

Fast Channel Advertising is the process of advertising on FAST channels, which is Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television. This is a rapidly growing area of digital media where consumers can watch curated and linear-style TV content streamed over the internet for free in exchange for ad-supported monetization.

Introduction

FAST channels are designed to mimic the traditional TV experience by providing continuous and scheduled content such as movies, TV shows, or themed streams. Unlike traditional TV, FAST channels do not require any subscription fees and are instead monetized solely through advertising.

Advertising on FAST channels is typically done using cutting-edge ad insertion technology such as Server-Side Ad Insertion (SSAI), which inserts the ads dynamically into the stream based on viewer behavior and demographics. This is more targeted than traditional TV advertising.

How It Works

FAST channel ads are placed during pre-programmed breaks in the streaming content, as in traditional TV. But thanks to programmatic and dynamic ad technology, advertisers can now craft messages for targeted audience segments, making personalized advertising possible and measurable in real-time.
