2. What will happen to all the media files that I currently have?
Muvi will automatically convert and then migrate all your video and audio files with state-of-the-art automapping technology. All your content metadata, captions, transcripts will be converted into universally accepted formats with absolute zero loss of data.
3. Can I review sample content that is converted and migrated?
Yes, you can, on the go.
4. Can I view, download, or play videos during the migration in Muvi?
Yes, your users can view, download, play, and share videos too while the migration is in progress.
5. What if some of my content is missing after the migration?

6. How can I request assistance with linking, embedding, copying, or applying video and folder permissions?
You can log a ticket at Muvi Support and you will be responded as per the defined SLA.
7. Can my videos be auto captioned or system captioned?
Migrated videos will be system captioned individually or per folder in Muvi. You are requested to configure your video or folder settings for videos to be automatically system captioned. Muvi also provides features to import relevant captions for a particular video or audio file.
8. How do I request professional human captioning services?
Muvi has multiple translations, transcription, and caption service providers in our partner network. You can reach out to them individually or can ask our team to coordinate. Check our Partners.
9. What happens to the video permissions on my existing platform?
All videos and audios migrated to Muvi will be by default in a private setting. You will have to set roles and permissions for the usage of content after migration.
10. How long does Migration take?
We have migrated platforms from a few hours to a couple of weeks time frame. This entirely depends on your existing service provider, the level of support they provide to Muvi, and the APIs they provide to support data migration.
11. Can you migrate Users as well?
Yes, as long as your existing provider supports the export of users, we can migrate them as it is to Muvi. Certain platforms like YouTube do not provide access to channel subscribers and in that case, we cannot do anything.
12. What will happen to my apps?
Muvi supports apps for Mobile & TV ecosystems as well, so you can even have the apps migrated over to Muvi. Your users may simply get an “App update” notification and once they update the app, they will get the new Muvi powered app to continue using your platform.
13. How will you handle payment gateway migration?
Muvi supports payment gateway migration as well. We can plug-in your existing payment gateway to Muvi or set up a new one. We can help in continuing the Subscription Cycles of your users so that there are no revenue discrepancies at your end when you migrate.
14. How to request a migration?
New customers can work with the sales team to request a migration while existing customers can work with their Customer Success Manager.
