Cox communications recently confirmed about their new Hispanic-focused subscription based video-on-demand service ‘Glosi’ focused on the Spanish speaking audience. The VOD is said to feature thousands of hours of “exclusive content and original programming”.
This multiscreen service is expected to be launched in August in Pilot mode at a subscription cost of $9.99 per month. Glosi will feature both original as well as classic programs.
Cox also announced to shut its Flare brand in February. The Flare brand includes FlarePlay(OTT subscription gaming) and FlareKids(a curated Web video offering). Cox has also tried a hand in providing a Spanish-language OTT-delivered SVOD service.
