Time Warner subsidiary Warner Bros. and a new co-venture from Turner launches a new children’s cartoon hub SVOD service – Boomerang. The new OTT platform will be well-stocked with cartoons from the Warner Bros. catalog and will be available to subscribers at $4.99 per month.
The service will feature classic shows like The Flintstones and The Jetsons and new episodes from the enduring Scooby-Doo, Looney Tunes, and Tom & Jerry franchises. While there is no official launch date, the new video streaming service is expected to arrive in the spring of 2017.
