According to a recent survey report, Hulu Live TV, which has 2 million active subscribers, is generating a subscription revenue of nearly $1.1 billion and becomes the first-ever live streaming service to cross the one-billion revenue mark.
Following that, DirectTV NOW with 1.5 million subscribers, is generating $950 million revenue while SlingTV lays back with just $870 million revenue, despite having the highest 2.4 millions of subscribers.
Although the SVoD services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu are generating higher monthly revenue, with these stats, the live streaming services are not too behind.
