Italy announced the launch of MioCinema, its new online streaming platform, on 18 May. This will be the first TVOD streaming service to directly involve in high-quality distribution of films during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The streaming service will be promoted by MYmovies, Circuito Cinema, and Lucky Red together with an integrated offer.
Gianluca Guzzo, Founder and CEO of MYmovies.it. said, “The acceleration of the digitization processes that have witnessed in recent weeks has not left cinema indifferent and today, MioCinema, with its network of cinemas located throughout the territory, aims to reach the public through a close and direct relationship, which makes it incomparable with all the other offers currently online.”
