According to the ‘Q3 Video Monetization Report’ from FreeWheel, content consumption on non-linear is growing fast, and more of this is taking place on bigger screens. The report also stated that the major events in sports and national interest (such as elections) supercharge this consumption.
Mostly driven by the short form video content, the ad views are growing by 28% year on year and video views by 37%. Live and short form content such as Olympics and the recent US elections collected double digit growth.
