With a humongous subscriber base and an impressive first quarter, Netflix is currently shining bright as its shares surged by 10%,  setting a new record. As a result, the streaming giant’s market value stands at a whopping USD 110 billion.

According to another report, Netflix is now one of the 59 companies in the S&P 500 worth at least $100 billion. Currently, the company’s worth is more than some of the biggies in the industry such as CBS, Viacom, Sony, 21st Century Fox, and Time Warner.

However, for Netflix, there is still a long way to match the industry gargantuan such as Disney, Comcast, AT&T, etc.

Also, Netflix is far behind the four tech titans that have been investing more in the world of content lately, which are Apple, Google owner Alphabet, Amazon, and Facebook.
