PCCW Media has introduced a new OTT platform that will be dedicated to video-on-demand (VoD) service, live streaming of sports events etc.
The SVOD platform named NOw E will be available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play later this month.
The company will also offer the Now E box, the first Google Android TV box offered by a Hong Kong operator, initially through HKT’s The Club loyalty platform as well as HKT and CSL Mobile retail outlets.
Janice Lee, PCCW Media Managing Director, quoted, “Now E means “Easy Entertainment Everywhere” which will be a perfect fit for the individual with Millennial lifestyle. We are confident that Now E will stand out from the rest as the most preferred OTT service as Now E is a single OTT platform which provides exclusive Asian and international movies, dramas and world-class sports events.”
