Lionsgate-owned streaming platform StarzPlay has launched in Japan through Apple TV channels.
Users in the country can access the SVoD streaming platform on Apple TV app on iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, Apple TV, Mac, Amazon Fire and Roku TV devices, and select Samsung and smart LG.
Starz executive VP of International Digital Networks, Superna Kalle said, “StarzPlay continues to gain popularity with viewers around the world. We look forward to delivering a curated experience for the first time in Japan through the Apple TV channels on the Apple TV app where we feel our exclusive premium series and library of blockbuster films will resonate with viewers.”
