Viacom introduces Paramount SVoD in Poland

Viacom International Media Networks is all set to introduce a Paramount-branded SVoD service in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) for the first time. The subscription video on demand service will be unveiled in Poland this month with cable TV distributor Toya and mobile operator Play, under the name Paramount Play.

Bartosz Witak, Senior VP and General Manager for Viacom International Media Networks in Central Eastern Europe and Israel, was quoted as saying, “Paramount Play is an important extension of our content offering for our distribution partners, which will diversify our footprint and bolster our market-leading position in CEE. Easy navigation between our brands under a single Paramount+ user interface will also boost discoverability of our content more broadly.”
