Star India will soon go digital-only in the US through its OTT platform Hotstar. As a result of which all of its networks will soon to move to the video streaming platform and it won’t be available on Dish TV, Sling TV, Comcast, and Verizon.

Assuming that cord-cutter numbers will only to decrease across the US market, Star India quoted this as a conscious decision.  Star India quoted, “We strongly feel that, in the US, a digital-only approach would best suit the market, and therefore we have decided to make all channels of the Star India Network available exclusively on our digital streaming platform Hotstar.”
